According to a report by the MailOnline today, Arsenal have been favoured as a result of a request put forward by one of the Premier League's finest to his club.
Wilfried Zaha, who at a time spoke of his love for the Gunners, has told Crystal Palace to come to terms with the club of his dreams so as to make a transfer to the Emirates Stadium possible.
The Ivory Coast international seems to have taken down the condition of wanting to join only a club that will guarantee him action in the Champions League next season.
Palace are finding if difficult to allow the forward depart especially now that they have sealed a £50 million involving Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.
Even with the player's desire to join Arsenal, there would still be a financial stumbling block. His side set an £80 million asking price which I know Arsenal can never pay.
They are known not to spend big and it won't be any different at this point where they have got a micro transfer budget. I still don't see them having an edge even if Palace decide to request half the price.
Zaha is currently representing his country at the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations.
