We have got positive news coming from the injury room. Our new signing was ruled out over the weekend but now has a very high chance of featuring sooner than expected.
Lucas Torreira was a major doubt for Arsenal's next Premier League game which will come up this Saturday after picking up an injury on international duty.
The Uruguayan had to be taken off as he suffered a calf injury during his national team's friendly game with Mexico last weekend.
He sat out of the second half and was spotted on the bench with an ice pack on the lower part of his leg
It was said initially that he will be unavailable for the trip to Newcastle but there has been an improvement, according to a picture that has surfaced.
Unai Emery gave fans a lot of hope with a training picture he posted from London Colney earlier today. In it, the 22-year-old summer signing is seen with the rest of his teammates, a sign that he has shaken off his fitness issue.

Arsenal supporters would hope to see Torreira start for the first time since joining. He has not been in the starting squad in all Premier League fixtures so far.
