Ian Wright Fires back at Arsenal Supporter

An Arsenal supporter has incurred the wrath of Ian Wright following a comment he made on ArsenalFanTV as regards selection for the legends' game.

The fan was disappointed that someone like Anders Limpar made the team to play against Real Madrid ahead of the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Freddie Ljumberg and Martin Keown.

The fan was probably ignorant of who Anders is. Maybe he had less knowledge of Arsenal prior to the emergence of Arsene Wenger, thus his outburst.

Ian Wright in return has reacted saying he wonders how Robbie (ArsenalFanTV presenter) came across such fans. Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell was also critical of the fan's statement which he saw as disrespect

Arsenal came out victorious from the encounter against Real Madrid legends via a penalty shootout on Saturday as the game ended in a 0-0 draw at the end of regular time.

Limpar was at Arsenal from 1990-1994 and was a member of the team that won the league in 1991. He made close to 100 appearances all through his four-year reign at the club.
