At his press conference on friday, Arsene Wenger disclosed the current state of his squad with his focus being on Petr Cech, David Ospina and Laurent Koscielny.
He began by making it known that there was no injury recorded in our last game. What this means is that everyone who featured on the night will be available for selection.
Our first and second choice goalkeepers both got injured at close range. Cech's was first and when it was time for Ospina to occupy that slot like a boss, some forces worked against him and Martinez stepped in.
Martinez will continue between the sticks on Monday night as his seniors are still nursing fitness problems. That guy will be so happy right now. Lol.
Koscielny hasn't recovered fully. He will be out of the Crystal Palace trip also but be rest assured that the Frenchman won't be out for so long. Please do not hold me responsible if he doesn't show up soon because I am giving you Wenger's update. Hehehe!
