Arsenal lost woefully to Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night but the 5-1 scoreline isn't just what will anger the club's fans.
It is normal to see players appreciate supporters who stood by them all through the game. On this occasion however, all Arsenal players except one raced down the tunnel immediately after the game.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain showed character and class by staying back to applaud the travelling fans who sacrificed their time, money and energy to follow their team down to Germany. He even gave out his shirt.
The English international was also seen saluting the home fans who in return applauded him for his humanitarian gesture.
It's quite disgraceful that players who ought to have acted professionally preferred to rush off into the dressing room at the close of the game. They need to bow their heads in shame for such a display.
The Ox is currently getting some stick from fans on social media for gifting Bayern Munich their fifth goal of the night. A few others have put that behind them and hailed him for his post-match gesture.
