Mesut Ozil was missing when the Arsenal team had a bonding session at a restaurant on Tuesday night.
The reason for this wasn't known at the time but it has now been revealed that his absence was as a result of his trip to Sweden.
It is believed that the German international has been granted a short break so as to get refreshed ahead of the the Gunner's crucial games coming up in the near future.
It was reported earlier in the week that the 28-year-old was seen shopping somehere in Gothenburg on Monday night.
I do not know why there was excessive worry over Ozil's absence at the dinner. The press as usual were just trying to link that to his contract situation so as to sell.
Probably, they wanted to make us feel that the midfielder isn't happy at the club anymore and wants a move away.
It's good we now know he was out of town. I have a question to ask? why is it that Ozil is the only one getting breaks? This is the second time he will be heading to Sweden to cool off since the season started.
