Arsenal have gotten Ryan Huddart back from non-league side, Eastleigh, where he has been on loan since the summer of 2016.
The 19-year-old has found less playing time there and for this reason the Gunners have activated a release clause which was included in the deal.
At the time when the move was initiated, there was an agreement between the Gunners and Eastleigh that should any irregularities surface along the line, Arsenal will have the right to recall him.
Huddart's lack of games has been a thing of worry for Arsenal who have now reclaimed their asset. He has only featured in five games since joining them.
Eastleigh issued a statement thus: “We would like to thank Ryan for his efforts and also Arsenal Football Club for offering us the opportunity to take the highly rated goalkeeper on loan
“We wish Ryan all the best for the rest of his career.”
Huddart has never played for the Arsenal senior team but is a regular with the U-18 and U-21 sides. He is currently tied to a contract which he signed in march last year.
