It has been revealed by a reliable source that Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has made a return to training today.
The German international has been out for since suffering a hamstring injury in our clash against Stoke City not too long ago.
He was ruled out for three weeks and has been undergoing his rehabilitation programme ever since.
According to Ben Dinnery, the centre-back joined the rest of the team as they prepared for their next Premier League game which will be against Crystal Palace on New Year Day.
Mustafi and Akpom have returned to full training, along with Danny Welbeck. But Walcott and Ox-Chamberlain were NOT with the main group #AFC— Ben Dinnery (@BenDinnery) December 28, 2016
The return of Mustafi will come as a big boost for the Gunners who have struggled in his absence.
The fact that Arsenal have not lost any game in which he featured in is something that has earned him great applause and he will be hoping to continue in that momentum when he is eventually called upon.
