Arsene Wenger has confirmed that two of our recently injured players will not be available for the game at Merseyside later on Tuesday night.
According to the Frenchman at his pre-Everton press conference, Shkodran Mustafi and Aaron Ramsey have been ruled out of the Premier League match.
Mustafi sustained a hamstring injury just 24 minutes into the Stoke City game last Saturday and it was stated by the boss afterwards that he will be out for a minimum of three weeks.
Pressmen still went ahead to ask him about the German defender's injury despite this prior revelation and Wenger maintained his stand.
"Well, of course we have lost Mustafi from the game against Stoke", Wenger said. "I don’t believe that anybody else will be available from the players that were out.
"I don’t change my mind on what I said - about 21 days."
Speaking on the case of our Welshman, Le boss made it known that he alongside the previous absentees are still out.
Gabriel Paulista and Rob Holding are available options to fill in for the injured Mustafi till when he makes a comeback early next year.
