Arsene Wenger has today confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will not be available to face both Southampton this weekend and Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League next week.
The Welshman injured his hamstring in the Gunners' first league game against Liverpool and after scans were made, he was expected to return after a short time but as it stands, his comeback has been delayed.
According to the manager, the 25-year-old is progressing well. However, he is not yet fit to resume first team activities.
Answering questions on player fitness, the Frenchman said: "Iwobi is back in the squad. The only one who is not ready is Aaron Ramsey. He is on the good way, but not completely ready for Southampton or Tuesday."
