Saturday, September 3, 2016 is a day that woild remain forever in the hearts of football lovers. On that day, Arsenal legends clashed with AC Milan Greats in a game which ended 4-2 in favour of the Gunners.
Displays from the likes of Nwankwo Kanu, Robert Pires, Martin Keown, Emmanuel Petit, Gilberto Silva, Freddie Ljumgberg and Ray Parlour reminded the world of the Arsenal of old. Thierry Henry was not in action as he was busy with the Belgian national team as assistant manager.
Kanu scored a hattrick for the Gunners before Pires and Ljumgberg combined to give the former a goal to make it four for the Gunners. Christian Vieri netted twice for the visitors in the charity match.
Altogether, it was a night of sweet memories. It was great seeing the big boys reunite with their dear team once again.
