According to reports by London Evening Standard, the agent of James Rodriguez has informed Arsenal that Real Madrid are willing to sell out his client for a good price.
The attacking midfielder has been on Arsenal's books since the last summer and right now, an opportunity has sprung up for them to get him (that is if what the source reported is true).
Arsenal are still in the market for quality players and with just few days left for the transfer window to shut, they will do all the can to get anyone they want.
Speaking after their 4-3 loss to Liverpool on Matchday 1 of the 2016/17 Premier League season, Arsene Wenger made it clear that there would still be one or two additions after the signing of Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
Even though Rodriguez would be a nice addition to the Arsenal team, that is not the priority for now. The central defence and striker positions are the two main departments needing swift attention. If these two sections are left unattended to then the Gunners would have a repeat of their last few seasons.
