William Carvalho has stated that it's been a long time he has developed passion for and interest in Arsenal, with Thierry Henry being the cause.
The Sporting Lisbon midfielder who was at a time linked with a move to the Emirates and now being rumoured to be a target for Manchester United will likely join Arsenal if he gets the chance.
"I am where I want to be right now, which is Sporting", William told Portuguese sports daily A Bola.
"If one day I change clubs then it's a sign that I've done well here. I dream of winning the Portuguese league", he added.
"I prefer not to say too much, but there is a club I have always loved: Arsenal.
"It's because they had Thierry Henry, a player I always enjoyed watching.
"Perhaps this is also why I've found the Premier League so appealing", William added.
Will Arsenal or any other club make a move for the Portuguese star by the time the January transfer window opens? Time will tell.
