Arsenal are having a fair share on the injury front this time as they have just a few key players out injured, with a greater percentage of the absentees already nearing full fitness.
With brace now taken off his leg, Arsenal striker, Danny Welbeck has revealed when he will likely make a return to the team.
The English international has been struggling with a fitness problem since last season. Attempts to make him fit again were futile so he had to undergo a surgery to heal the problem.
In a previous press release, Arsene Wenger predicted a December return for the former Manchester United star but from what he himself has come out to say, that target might be too early.
The 24-year-old stated that he expects to be back in the early stages of the coming year, 2016.
"It's difficult to put an exact date on it, around the New Year," he told Sport 360. "After I had the operation, I was in a leg brace for about four weeks - which wasn't easy. I had to do a lot of machine work, about six hours a day.
"Sleeping in a leg brace isn't good. At night it's not comfortable, it's the first time I've slept on my back in years.
"It's good to finally be out of the brace now and walking. It feels like I'm getting that little bit closer to getting back out on the pitch."
Except for their poor outing in the Champions League so far, Arsenal have had a remarkable start to the 2015/16 campaign, and as such have not really felt the absence of Welbeck.
