Arsenal won the FA Cup on 30th May and had a victory parade the next day where we saw Jack Wilshere dish out chants which were aimed at mocking Tottenham Hotspur.
After such a behaviour which the FA tagged 'unacceptable', the English international has now been given his punishment. He has been fined £40 000 and warned to desist from repeating such in future.
Wilshere was found guilty by the FA of making comments which brought the game into disrepute. He has since apologized for his unruly act but will still have to dance to the tune of his own music.
Wilshere did the same thing last year in Arsenal's FA Cup parade but was not punished on that occasion. He was only warned.
After the latest one, he was spoken to by staff of Arsenal but the club revealed it won't be meting out any sanction to the 23-year-old.
Arsenal won the FA Cup for the 12th time, the highest in the history of the world's oldest cup competition. They will now have to face Chelsea who were league champions in the Community Shield at the start of next season.
