BREAKING NEWS: Personal Terms Agreed For Top Arsenal Target.

Arsenal have leaped higher in their bid to get Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech as Sky Sports are claiming that we have agreed personal terms with him.

It's now an open secret that Arsenal want the 33-year-old, with many sources in the media linking Cech with a potential Emirates move. Arsene Wenger is said to want to recruit him so that he can help us mount a serious title challenge next season and with the level of his experience, he is not the wrong man to go for.

Cech got fed up of sitting on the bench since losing his place to Thibaut Courtois and that warranted his request for a transfer away from Stamford Bridge. Chelsea would have held him back or sold him out of England to a club like Paris Saint Germain but the player is not willing to leave London. Abramovich however is giving the veteran goalkeeper the opportunity to choose where he wants to go as a way of rewarding him for his loyal service to the club.

The player's mind has been made up and he has agreed to join the Gunners family. What is left now is for Arsenal and Chelsea to sit and strike a deal which should be in the region of £10million. He will earn £100 000-a-week at the Emirates which will make Cech the highest paid goalkeeper in the history of Arsenal.

Contrary to Mourinho's wish of getting a player in exchange, Arsene Wenger wants a cash deal only. He is not set to lose any of his top stars at the moment.

If all goes as planned, Cech should complete a move and an official announcement made on the Arsenal official website before the week runs out.
