Our highly respected legend, Thierry Henry came around for a visit at the Arsenal training ground on Thursday and Joel Campbell utilized this opportunity to meet with one of his heroes.
The young Costa Rican striker took shots with Henry, one of which he uploaded on Instagram and wrote:
“Con uno de los más grandes “el Titi ” #idolo #henry” which translates to English as “With one of the greatest “Titi” #Idol #Henry”.
Joel Campbell has not been able to break fully into the first team and this has been a cause for concern for this lad who tore teams apart with his skills at the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil. Despite being a pacy forward and decent finisher, Wenger has not given him much chance to showcase his numerous talents.
Campbell is currently being linked with a potential loan switch to Bordeaux and the deal is expected to be completed before the end of this month.
