Arsenal target who is on the verge of signing for the North-London side has bade the fans and players of Villarreal goodbye.

Gabriel Paulista was left out of the team that faced Levante on Saturday night due to his impending move to the Emirates Stadium and Villarreal disclosed through their twitter handle before that game that an agreement has already been struck with Arsenal. They revealed that a loan move for Joel Campbell is part of the deal.

Before their game with Levante, Paulista was given a yellow submarine as a reward for his contributions to the club. He bade the fans farewell before posing with the rest of the team in the dressing room after the match.

The 24-year-old Brazillian is expected to have his medical and complete his transfer to Arsenal today. His work permit issue has been resolved, according to a Spanish journalist Graham Hunter.

An official announcement should be made before tomorrow if all goes as planned.
